MEXICO, NY – Do you dare to spend the evening in a haunted cottage? Do you believe in ghosts and spirits?
You will if you spend the evening with the ghosts of Casey’s Cottage at Mexico Point Park. On May 5 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Brave souls are invited to investigate the spirits of Casey’s Cottage and other ‘haunted’ places in the park with professional ghost hunters.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with introductions followed by the history of Casey’s Cottage, Mexico Point Club, and Spy Island.
Park staff and investigators will share personal paranormal experiences based on previous other-world experiences at the park.
Experts will explain and set up equipment then organize investigations.
Will the Lady in Blue be present?
Will guests feel the presence of Dr. William Casey and Severin Bishop, the creators of Casey’s Cottage. Or, will spirits from an earlier time make themselves known?
The donation of $50 includes the services of professional ghost hunters and snacks.
Guests are asked to bring a jacket and a flashlight.

Casey’s Cottage is located at Mexico Point Park in the Town of Mexico just off 104 B.
It is home to a lovely park, walking trails, historical sites and beautiful sunsets.
During the summer there are many park-sponsored events and the beach is open for swimmers.
