OSWEGO – The Lake Ontario Event and Confrence Center, 26 E. First St., will host a St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving event to raise funds and awareness for lifesaving childhood cancer research on Sunday, April 15.
The event will start at noon and run to 3 p.m.
With a goal of raising $75,000, nearly 100 local volunteers will go bald to support the foundation’s mission to take childhood back from cancer.
The event will take place during National Volunteer Week, a week-long celebration of people doing extraordoinary things through service.
