St. Luke Employees’ Food Drive Benefits Catholic Charities

OSWEGO – In anticipation of the coming holiday season, staff at St. Luke Health Services held a “Food Drive” to benefit Catholic Charities of Oswego County.

For a donation of a canned or non-perishable food item, St. Luke staff was able to wear their favorite casual clothes to work for the day, with all proceeds going Catholic Charities of Oswego County in anticipation of an increase in need during the coming holiday season.

For a donation of a canned or boxed food item, St. Luke staff was able to dress casually for the day and support the Catholic Charities Holiday Food Drive.

“Last year, Catholic Charities distributed hundreds of food baskets to needy families throughout our county during the holiday season,” said Heather Mellen, Human Resources Coordinator at St. Luke and one of the organizers of the event. “We have a great staff here at St. Luke and are appreciative of the support they demonstrated through their generous donations on behalf of Catholic Charities.”
