
(Oswego, NY) – St. Luke Health Services welcomed Representative Bill Owens (23rd Congressional District) to their healthcare campus in Oswego to discuss federal healthcare issues and to give Rep. Owens the opportunity to visit St. Luke, Bishop’s Commons Assistive Living Residence and Little Lukes Childcare Center.
Congressman Owens was welcomed by St. Luke CEO and Administrator Terrence Gorman, members of St. Luke’s Board of Directors and staff. Federal funding for long-term care services and the expansion of healthcare workforce programs were topics highlighted in a meeting that preceded a tour of St. Luke, Bishop’s Commons and Little Lukes Childcare Center. Owens took the opportunity to meet with residents, family members and staff while visiting.

About St. Luke – Located on the St. Luke healthcare campus in Oswego, St. Luke Health Services is a non-denominational, not-for-profit organization that has been providing healthcare services to the community since 1975. St. Luke is the largest provider of Residential Skilled Nursing Care in Oswego County, serving 200 residents daily. Services also include Short-Stay Rehabilitation, Adult Day Health Care and Providence Care, the only skilled nursing setting in Oswego County designed to care for those with dementia-related illnesses.
Assistive Living is available at Bishop’s Commons, located on the St. Luke healthcare campus. The Little Lukes Childcare Center offers a number of childcare options not available elsewhere in Oswego County. Affiliate Michaud Residential Health Services, located in the City of Fulton is an eighty-nine bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation residence, serving the southern portion of Oswego County.
