St. Mary’s Church Supports Catholic Charities

OSWEGO, NY – Parishioners of St. Mary’s Church in Oswego recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a large donation of food for the agency’s pantry and clothing and toys for agency’s ‘Let’s Give For A Kid’ program.

Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services program will distribute the food and gifts to families in need this holiday season.

Director of the emergency services program Helen Hoefer was happy to receive the donation and thankful that St. Mary’s thought of them.

“With the requests we are receiving this holiday season we are very grateful to the parishioners of St. Mary’s for their generous donations.  They donated a wonderful assortment of food and gifts that will go a long way in helping us meet those requests. These donations will help put smiles on the faces of many parents and their children this Christmas,” said Hoefer.
