Stargazers Night Planned At Marine Museum

OSWEGO, NY – The H Lee White Marine Museum, located in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District, is pleased to announce “Stargazers Night” at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 25.

Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Dr. Scott Roby, associate professor of astronomy, will present information on viewing the local night sky.

Join us for a night of stargazing, featuring Dr. Scott Roby, associate professor of astronomy.

He will provide information on viewing the night sky in our area.

Equipment will be available for closer viewing of the cosmos – observe the stars, planets and full moon through professional equipment.

The moon will be in quarter phase and Saturn and Jupiter should be readily visible.

As program size is limited, pre-reservation is required and aren’t able to accommodate large groups.

Participants must be age 12 and over.
