OSWEGO, New York – Steve Canale of The Press Box in Oswego will be the guest chef at the upcoming Oswego Salvation Army Benefit Dinner on August 18th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the New Salvation Army Kitchen at 73 West Second Street in Oswego, according to Major Corinne Hayes of the Oswego Citadel.
Canale will be serving The Press Box Special Meat Loaf, Mashed Potatoes, Garlic Basil Green Beans, Canale’s Famous Salad, and Italian Bread.
“Our guest chef benefits are very popular in the community,†said Hayes. “We’re looking forward to having Steve Canale and The Press Box partner with us for our August dinner, and we hope the Oswego community will come out and support their local Salvation Army.â€
Tickets for the event are $8.50 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-12, and FREE for children 5 and under.
All proceeds will benefit the Oswego Salvation Army.
The Oswego Salvation Army is part of the International Salvation Army organization, which is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The local citadel provides food, education, services and spiritual support to the local community.
