Citizenship was on display at Fairgrieve Elementary School during June and 22 students earned recognition for exemplifying the virtue of the month.

One student from each classroom in kindergarten through sixth grades earned the honor during a recent Morning Express program.
The children were presented with Virtue of the Month awards and a button commemorating their achievement.
The award-winners were Chandra Holden, Dominic Harris and Giavonna Spano (kindergarten); Dawson Reed, Mia Aldasch and Hailey Bryan (first grade); Brady Niver, Lillian Cunningham, Moira Percival and Ciearra Harris (second grade); Hunter Nichols, Izabella Bogardus and Vera Butchko (third grade); Mason Trumble, Matthew Breton and Alley Bliss (fourth grade); Damien Reidell, Kaitlyn Bevacqua and Olivia Forsyth (fifth grade); and Alexandria Maynard, Brayden McGraw and Breahna Boots (sixth grade).
