FULTON, NY – Oswego AmeriCorps members Paige Havener and Eve Simmonds are working in conjunction with the Fulton City Parks and Recreation to create a summer program that’s available for children in kindergarten all the way up to sixth grade.

The program started June 29.
It will be going on all the way to August 14.
The program allows kids to find ways to get active through activities like kickball, tag and obstacle courses.
It will also focus on teaching kids healthy habits that they can develop now and continue for the rest of their lives.
Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks is located at four different parks:
Voorhees Park, located South Fourth and Academy streets
John Lincoln Park, located on East Broadway at Pathfinder Courts
Patrick Park, located on Frawley Drive

Recreation Park, located on William Gillard Drive
This program is completely free.
Children are invited to come only once, or come back every single time.
If you are interested in looking at the schedule of activities, the entire calendar is listed on the program’s facebook page, Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks.
If you are interested in more information, or again wish to have a copy of the schedule, contact Havener and Simmonds at [email protected] or at 592-2474.
