Sunrise Rotarians Hear About Border Patrol Work

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting President Ellen  Nowyj introduced Scott Plasse, Border Patrol Supervising Agent, who spoke of the new focus of Border Patrol.   For a long time the former focus was primarily illegal immigration.  Now the new focus is on counter terrorism and securing the lake shore which spans Oswego, Cayuga and Wayne Counties.  Seventeen to twenty six terrorist cells have been identified in Canada as threats to our country.    Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.
