The ice rink is leased from the city for $1.

The association pays for all electricity and equipment while the city helps with trash and snow removal.

Fulton Youth Hockey fundraises to keep the costs down for each participant.

It typically costs Fulton players about $400 each compared to other clubs that are two or three times that amount.

Donations have covered items such as new jerseys, bleachers and locker room floors, along with repairs and costs for facility equipment and an insurance policy to guard against repairs/replacement of the 68,000 feet of pipe under the ice.

Fulton Youth Hockey has seven teams ranging from an under 6 year age level to high school.

They play a 16 game season with away games being as far away as Elmira and Watertown.

The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn. missing or outdated ad config
