OSWEGO — Renowned pollster and author John Zogby will discuss his new book, “The Way We’ll Be,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in downtown Syracuse.

During his talk, which is free and open to the public, Zogby will offer a far-ranging look into the changing nature of contemporary life gleaned from working on the book and his polling practice. A brief reception, starting at 6:30 p.m., will precede the talk. A group discussion welcoming audience questions will follow.

“We’re thrilled to bring John Zogby’s intelligence, insight and illuminating observations to Central New York,” SUNY Oswego President Deborah F. Stanley said. “I expect anyone attending to gain a greater understanding of where we are and where we’re going as a society, which is a valuable viewpoint for everybody.”

Zogby, who grew up in Utica, is the founder, president and CEO of Zogby International, a polling firm known for phone polling as well as interactive, Internet-based polling. Since founding Zogby International in 1984, he has conducted polls and focus groups around the world, becoming most well-known for his work involving political polling. His new book provides a canvas for a portrait of the changing America emerging from his polls and analysis.
