SUNY Oswego Student Helps Tree Stewards

Oswego Tree Steward volunteer Jessie Brandt, is a student from SUNY Oswego.

She is pictured digging out a girdling root from below the ground.

This shows how trees being planted too deep or mulched too much will make the tree struggle forever to get nutrients and water.
