The exhibition, which features up to three original visual-media works per non-professional artist, will run through May 30 at the library.

A panel of volunteer judges who are professionally involved in the arts will adjudicate the in-house exhibition. The Everson Museum of Art will include selected pieces in the regionwide “On My Own Time” exhibition in the fall.

Created 40 years ago by CNY Arts, in cooperation with the Everson, “On My Own Time” is a community arts program that links the business and cultural sectors of Central New York to promote an appreciation of the arts and to recognize creativity in the workforce.
