PULASKI – Summer heats up even more on Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. when Syracuse City Ballet brings “Summer Heat” to the Kallet Theater (http://kallettheater.com) in Pulaski. Enjoy a blend of classical ballet and contemporary dance with brand new choreography.
“We are so excited to be bringing ballet to this incredible venue,” said company Artistic Director Kathleen Rathbun. “and thankful to the Kallet Theater management and staff. So many people from Oswego and Jefferson counties have been coming to our productions in Syracuse. It’s gratifying to be able to perform in Pulaski and to have dancers from the ABC Dance Academy spend time with our dancers and choreographers and be part of the performance.
“We were honored to be asked to participate,” said ABC Dance Academy owner Andrea Ashby. “Performing with Syracuse City Ballet is a dream come true,!” added dancer Mia Pierce. “Ever since I was little, dancing with professional ballet dancers has always been my dream.”
“Summer Heat” is made possible in part with grants from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation and the Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund.
Tickets range from $15 for general admission to $50 for VIP balcony seating with private lounge.
