Syracuse Silver Knights Dancer, Mexico Elementary Teacher Inspires Students

MEXICO – Mexico Elementary School music teacher Theresa Rutkowski, left, is proof that people can balance a personal passion with a rewarding career.

She and fellow Syracuse Silver Knights dance team members encouraged Mexico Elementary students during a recent school-wide celebration to chase their dreams as they take care of themselves and work toward achieving their goals.

After a short dance performance, Principal Robert Briggs reiterated Rutkowski’s message and told students to “Find something you love doing and more opportunities to keep doing it.”
