Syracuse Symphony Orchestra To Perform At Breitbeck Park

OSWEGO, NY – The magnificent sounds of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra will fill the air during a special, free holiday performance scheduled for July 5 at scenic Breitbeck Park.

The orchestra, under the direction of renowned conductor, Ron Spigelman, will continue the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Celebration in grand style with a stunning live performing beginning at 8 p.m. at Breitbeck Park in Oswego.

For its Independence Celebration performance, the Syracuse Symphony will perform a program of popular and patriotic music featuring some of America’s favorite composers.

Made possible through the efforts of Assemblyman Will Barclay, the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, this breathtaking performance is free and open to the public.

“Having the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra perform in Oswego will be a great cultural and community event for our area residents,” said Barclay. “I am happy to be able to assist in bringing this experience to Oswego.”

“This free concert by the Syracuse Symphony will be a real treat for the whole family,” said Beth Hilton, executive director of the chamber. “We encourage families to pack a picnic basket, bring a blanket and enjoy an evening of great music.”
