GRANBY – Select students at Granby Elementary School recently participated in a Granby Gator Buddies event, allowing younger and older students to collaborate in activities to highlight the school’s character trait of tolerance.

Gator Buddies, a concept similar to peer leadership, provides older students with essential leadership skills and younger students with the opportunity to ease into the transition of a full year of schooling.
During the event, students were able to participate in an assortment of team-building games, including a parachute exercise in the cafeteria and Valentine’s Day activities in several classrooms.
