Television Weatherman Comes To Minetto Elementary

MINETTO, NY – Stormteam 9 provided Jim Teske to the Minetto Elementary School to meet with fifth grade students.

Teacher Brian Haessig noted Teske provided experiments to illustrate air pressure, showed a tornado video and provided “cool” computer graphics to enhance the lesson on Central New York weather.

Haessig explained that Teske made the technical weather information “fifth grade friendly” and kept the information at a level for the students to easily understand.
