This week’s entertainment will feature a live performance by The Jam Bones.  One of Central New York’s most popular bands, The Jam Bones distinctive sound is a result of a combination of talented players and great music.  The Jam Bones plays the best material of many styles and prides itself on having a huge yet ever-growing set list of fun music including self-penned songs from their CDs, Shake and Bake! as well as their latest release, New Recipe. Members of the band have performed with national touring musicians as well as some of the best local talent around.

This year’s Farmers’ Market hosts over 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, home made baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausages and more.

“Each week we are adding new vendors and items to our market.  Join our weekly community block party and catch up on the latest news from all your friends and see what’s new at the Oswego Farmers’ Market every Thursday night.”

Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets.  Tickets will be available at the Chamber booth each week of the market.  The winning ticket will be drawn during the Pumpkin Festival at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 5th in Washington Square Park.  You need not be present to win.

While the Farmers’ Market is fun for the whole family, the Chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.
