OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City Band presents “Beautiful Melodies” at Breitbeck Park on July 6 at 7:30 p.m.
The ensemble will be performing a wide variety of styles appropriate for all ages and musical tastes.
American classic melodies like Amazing Grace, the Shaker Melody Tis the Gift to be Simple, Leroy Anderson’s Bugler’s Holiday, as well as arrangements of international favorites by Grainger and Shostakovich.
An arrangement of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music will be featured along with modern compositions, and energetic marches.
