The Oswego County Transportation Coalition (OCTC) is proud to announce that the Oswego County Public Transportation Web Site is up and running and available on line at:
www.forthebus.org
The Web Site is a project of the Oswego County Transportation Coalition. Funding for this project was provided through a grant from the New York State DDPC (Developmental Disabilities Planning Council). The grant was administered by OCO, Inc. and Chirello Advertising of Fulton, NY was hired to design the web site.
The web site is part of the “Happy Travels†marketing program which also includes travel training information complete with a Customer Guide booklet and DVD training program, and an informational brochure.
The Web site contains information and links to the OCO, Inc. Transportation web site and the Centro of Oswego County Web Site. Other information on the web site includes using Taxicab services in Oswego County, accessing the DAV Van for Disabled American Veterans, finding out about travel training and information about the Oswego County Transportation Coalition.
The Oswego County Transportation Coalition was established in 2002 by Oswego County Opportunities and the United Way of Greater Oswego County. The Mission of the Oswego County Transportation Coalition is to improve access to community services for all county residents through education and information about county transportation services.
