FULTON – The Shineman Foundation has lent its support to Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) initiative by signing on as a Silver Level Sponsor for OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Paring event.

Presented by G&C Foods, Eagle Beverage, and National Grid, OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing Event will be held November 14th from 6-9 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center in Oswego.

Giving Thanks serves as a fundraiser for OCO’s “Thrive in ’25: From Hardship to Hope” initiative to support programs that empower individuals to become their best selves by providing support programs that provide critical resources and opportunities in areas such as education, job training, and mental health support.

“At the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, we are deeply committed to strengthening the fabric of our community by investing in organizations that help transform hardship into hope,” said Foundation Director Chena Tucker. “Oswego County Opportunities plays a vital role in serving individuals and families across our county, and we are proud to support their Giving Thanks event. This initiative reflects the generosity and compassion that define our community, and we are honored to stand alongside OCO as they continue their critical work uplifting those in need and inspiring hope for a stronger, more resilient community.”

“We greatly appreciate the support we receive from the Shineman Foundation,” said OCO Development Coordinator Bridget Dolbear. “The care and concern that the Shineman Foundation has shown for our community is overwhelming. We are honored to be chosen as one of its community partners.”
