The Sun Shines on Volney Game Day

Students at Volney Elementary School go on a treasure hunt during the school’s recent Game Day. Second graders (left to right) Dashual Buxton, Ella Henderson, Jayda Borrow, and Lilly Dumas ditched their sneakers and socks and jumped into a pool of sand to search and remove, using only their feet and toes, one slippery glass marble. Game Day at Volney Elementary School is an annual event and features a variety of fun and challenging activities for students to participate in.
