The Oswego Farmers Market continues this Thursday, September 18th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on West First Street in Oswego. This week’s market will feature a special live performance by The Swivel Rockers.
Pathfinder Bank is sponsoring the evening’s entertainment. Representatives from Pathfinder Bank will be on hand at the Farmers’ Market to distribute information and encourage participation in the upcoming Kidney Walk on Sunday, September 28th. A non-competitive fundraising walk, the Kidney Walk is a chance for those living with kidney disease, their families, the medical communities, and the public to celebrate Life and support the National Kidney Foundation’s early screening and education programs. The Kidney Walk will be take place on Sunday, September 28th. Registration begins at 10:00 am at SUNY Oswego’s Hewitt Union with the walk starting at 11:00am. Those visiting the Pathfinder Bank booth at the Farmers’ Market will be able to turn in funds, pick up a t-shirt, and pick up a team banner.
This year’s Farmers’ Market hosts over 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, home made baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausages and more.

Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets. Tickets will be available at the Chamber booth each week of the market. The winning ticket will be drawn during the Pumpkin Festival at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 5th in Washington Square Park. You need not be present to win.
While the Farmers’ Market is fun for the whole family, the Chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.
