Thirty-one Hannibal High School Students Inducted Into Key Club

The Hannibal High School Key Club continues to grow, as 31 new members were sworn in during a recent induction ceremony.

Held in the high school auditorium, Key Club President Sydney Waloven, Vice President Samantha Eddy, Secretary Alexis Lathrop and Treasurer Kate Thompson discussed the four main traits required of a Key Club member: Character, leadership, honor and caring.

These qualities align with the organization’s vision to develop competent, capable and caring leaders through the vehicle of service.

After receiving words of encouragement from club adviser Kenny Greenleaf, Principal Stephen Dunn and Superintendent Donna Fountain, the inductees recited the Key Club pledge to “uphold the objectives of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and god; and to combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.”

The new members include: Courtney Battist, Tori Boyce, Sierra Clark, Alexis Cole, Kristen D’Angelo, Allyson Donaldson, Austin Donhauser, Lynsey Fowler, Mathew Good , Theresa Hare, Reilly Harris, Matt Haskell, Brittany Hollenbeck, Jesse Janes, Hannah Jordan, Caitlyn Kerst, Autumn Lanning, Ryleigh LaRock, Kiersten Lathrop, Amanda Learned, Cassie Long, Justine Marsh, Sam McCraith, Rebekah Mills, Kirsten Modery, Michelle Sharkey, Megan Shaw, Regan Siver, Mikayla Somers, Mariah Wallace and Andrew Wheeler.
