CENTRAL SQUARE – The Central Square School District has announced three alumni to be honored as the newest members of its Wall of Distinction who will be inducted officially at a ceremony this month.
The Wall of Distinction recognizes and celebrates Central Square alumni who have shown prominence in their personal or professional lives, or have generously dedicated their time to the district through community service or volunteer work.
This year’s honorees are Molly Buchanen, Michael Hall and Richard Mercer. This year’s ceremony, which is open for the public to attend, will take place Tuesday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Paul V. Moore High School cafeteria.
Candidates for the Wall of Distinction must be nominated by a member of the greater Central Square district community, be of sufficient moral character to represent a positive role model for students and must have graduated at least 20 years prior to nomination.
