Ticket sales for the 7th annual “Lions Loot†sweepstakes have been brisk, said club President, David Guyer. “We’ve sold more than 600 tickets to date and anticipate thatâ€â€just like last yearâ€â€we’ll sell all 1,000 tickets for this fun, exciting event.†Lions Loot drawings are scheduled for 1 p.m., Sun. Oct. 18, 2009 at the Fulton Polish Home.
“This is our club’s major fundraiser,†Guyer said. “Proceeds from Lions Loot help us assist many Fulton area residents with eye examinations, eye glasses and hearing aids. Donations for each ticket are still $50 for adults aged 18 or older. In 2008-09, we provided more than $9,000 to help the hearing and vision impaired.â€Â

“Tickets are available from any Fulton Lions member, The Medicine Place in Fulton and Phoenix, Chirello Advertising, Mimi’s, Hannibal IGA, Muski’s Grill, Tavern on the Lock, and by contacting Lions Loot Chairperson Diane Sokolowski at (315) 532-7369.
“We also wanted to remind participants that more than one name may be on a ticket. In addition, requests for a special number will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and that you need not me present to win,†said Sokolowski. “Every ticket sold will be in the drum for every drawing and you can win more than once. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
“Each ticket purchased allows two adults to attend the drawing and enjoy food, drink, and entertainment the day of the drawing. To give yourself the best chance of reserving your lucky numbers we urge you to return your applications as soon as possible.â€Â
