OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature recognized wrestler Nick Tighe with a certificate at their April meeting.
Tighe brought home the title of New York State Division II Wrestling Champion after his 1st place finish in the 126-pound weight class.
Coached by Gene Mills, Tighe has qualified for the NYS Division II Championship an astounding four times in his career; winning 5th and 1st place titles twice.
The Phoenix junior has amassed 204 wins with 96 pins so far, and has another wrestling season ahead of him.
