Dozens of Fairgrieve Elementary School students were in the spotlight Jan. 23 during the daily Morning Express program.

The fourth grade glee club kicked things off with a song that reflected tolerance, the January character virtue.
After the performance, Principal Jean Ciesla recognized students from each class who exhibited tolerance by respecting the dignity, opinions and rights of others during the past month.
Students earning recognition included Alyssa Spicer, Dakota Brown, Kloe Bryan, Andrew Mitchell, Patience Ingison, Akeylla Janes, Kaitlinn Stewart-Shade, Brook McLoughlin, Laurissa Bruska-Ostrander, Ty Nesbitt, Jennifer Prosenick, Cassidy Duso, Adam Paro, Curtis Taylor, Olivia Cunningham, Shane Seymour, Linda Hartmann, Andru Walts, Logan Bonnell, Ethan Abelgore, Bailey Welling, Autumn Stoltz and Kadin Berner.
They each received buttons honoring them for their achievement.
