Tourism Businesses and Attractions Will Receive Free Listings in New Oswego County Visitor Guide

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning is developing its 2018-2019 Oswego County Visitor Guide, scheduled for publication in January.

Tourism-related businesses and attractions located in Oswego County will receive a free listing in the guide, and there will be opportunities for additional promotion through paid advertisements.

The publication will be distributed to consumers at trade and travel shows, visitor information centers, Thruway rest stops, festivals and through direct mail over the next two years.

Local businesses and attractions are asked to check the listings on the Oswego County tourism website at www.visitoswwegocounty.com to make sure that information on their business is up-to-date.

Attractions that aren’t on the website, or that need to make changes, should email the tourism office at [email protected], or call the office at 315-349-8322.

“The visitoswegocounty.com website contains the most current information we have on our tourism partners,” said Janet Clerkin, Tourism and Public Information Coordinator. “We want to make sure that our information is as complete and accurate as possible, but we’re not always aware of business openings or changes in a business’s status. We appreciate our partners’ taking the time to check their listing and providing updated information.”
