Tree Lighting Caps Hannibal’s “Country Christmas” Celebration

In conjunction with the 7th annual “A Country Christmas” taking place in the Village of Hannibal on November 20 and 21, the Hannibal Historical Society is hosting the Village Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 21 at 5 p.m. in the Village Square.

The Port Byron Brass will provide Christmas music beginning at 4:45 and continue in concert throughout the event.

Terry Matthew Wilber, Hannibal’s Oswego County Legislator will extend holiday greetings. “A Country Christmas” drawings will take place and the children will enjoy their own parade, accompanied by Santa.

Each child present will be given a Christmas tree ornament to place on the tree before the lights are turned on. The Christmas tree, planted in the square by Beckwith’s Christmas Tree Farm, will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
