FULTON – Trent Berry of Fulton is celebrating his 21st birthday today.
He is a 2017 Graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School and is pursuing a degree in Political Science at SUNY Oswego. Trent is also a brain cancer survivor. Every day, regardless of any challenge he may encounter, he remains determined to take back his future and realize all his endless potential.
Rumor has it, his family is planning a pandemic appropriate event for him today that is sure to be memorable. I have more memories of Trent than I could possibly mention in this caption. Encouraging him to “pet” his Aunt Mae to her chagrin when he was six or him hiding from his pregnant and “slightly” emotional mother during his sixth grade graduation to avoid having his picture taken are a few of my favorite memories of him.
We miss his Aunt Mae. Yet, I am certain that all of us who love Trent and truly believe in him know that our best memories with him are yet to come. Happy Birthday Trent!
