Two choirs from college to sing international repertoire Nov. 3

OSWEGO — SUNY Oswego’s College Choir and State Singers will offer a free a cappella concert of global music ranging from French chanson to Native American lullaby at 3 p.m. Nov. 3, at St. Paul’s Church, 50 E. Mohawk St. in Oswego.

Mihoko Tsutsumi, the college’s director of choral activities, said the concert will feature such songs as “Il Est Bel et Bon” from France, “Old Dan Tucker” from American folk, the Greek “Bounce of Zalongo,” “Balleilakka” from India,” the Venezuelan “Goza Mi Calipso” and the Iroquois “Yanaway Heyona,” among others.
