OSWEGO COUNTY – Stephanie MacCaull, of Oswego, was recently announced the winner of United Way of Greater Oswego County’s 2024 drawing for a stunning diamond ring. The second prize winner of a $200 gift certificate to DuFore’s Jeweler’s was Missie Hoefer.
The 1.5 carat total weight oval diamond cluster ring nestled in a 14k white gold setting, valued at $4,500, was generously donated by DuFore Jewelers in Oswego. The local business has been an active supporter of United Way and wonderful community partner for many years, with the Christmas Eve raffle drawing serving as a longstanding tradition many locals look forward to.
United Way Executive Director Patrick Dewine said this year’s raffle generated an impressive amount in ticket sales, raising funds to support United Way’s Annual Campaign. “We extend a heartfelt gratitude of thanks to all the community members who supported this annual raffle through ticket purchases and those serving as sales ambassadors. We couldn’t have possibly been successful without your support”, said Dewine.
“Most important, we cannot thank DuFore’s Jewelers enough for their continued generosity and support of United Way’s mission to end hunger, build successful youth, and ensure wellness throughout Oswego County,” said Dewine. “This partnership is truly a shining example of what can be accomplished when we are united so everyone can thrive”, added Dewine.
DuFore’s Jeweler’s, located in the heart of downtown Oswego at 94 West Second Street, has been family owned and operated for 68 years, providing a large selection of jewelry and watches to suit everyone’s needs.
