United Way Golf Tournament a Success

FULTON, NY – A field of 51 teams took to the links for a day of golf and fun in the 16th Annual United Way Golf Tournament, held July 15 at the Greenview Country Club in West Monroe.

“Everyone had a great time and the money raised will do much to help the 22 human service programs that the United Way of Greater Oswego County helps support,” said Executive Director, Melanie Trexler. “I extend a sincere thank you to our major sponsors; National Grid, Novelis, Oswego County Federal Credit Union, Entergy, CENG, and Burritt Motors as well as the many other businesses, organizations and individuals who assisted us with the financial underwriting of the tournament. I also appreciate the hard work and dedication of the golf committee and our many volunteers who helped make the event special. Their efforts played a major role in the success of our golf tournament.”
