United Way Offers Golfers Chance At The Good Life

FULTON, NY – As usual the United Way Golf Classic will offer participants something new, a chance to win the “Good Life.”  Thanks to the support of area businesses the United Way Golf Committee have prepared 10 specially themed packages that will be available as part of a “pick-a-prize” that will take place during the United Way’s Golf Classic.

“We have received some very nice items for our pick-a-prize,” said Lois Luber, resource development director for the United Way.  “We are still accepting donations and are looking forward to offering participants a chance to win some great prize packages and enjoy a taste of the good life.”

Luber said that businesses interested in being a part of the United Way’s Golf Classic “pick-a-prize” should contact her at 314-593-1900 ext. 202.

Scheduled for July 15 at the Greenview Country Club in West Monroe, the golf classic is one of the largest golf tournaments in Oswego County and provides businesses and individuals with the opportunity to enjoy a fun day of golf and while helping to support their United Way.

Registration includes a continental breakfast, a classic golf shirt, golf cart, 18 holes of golf, lunch, beverages on the course, and a steak dinner buffet following the tournament. There will also be plenty of giveaways and prizes, with each golfer being eligible for, longest drive and closest to the pin prizes.  Interested golfers will also have the opportunity to sign up for the skins contest.  Entry fees are $125 per person or $500 per team.
