United Way Salutes Volunteers Of The Year

OSWEGO, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County recently presented the Spirit of Community Award to the committee members and volunteers of the United Way’s Stone Soup and Stone Soup Too luncheons.

The award is presented annually to volunteers who care and want to make a difference in their community.

Tammy Holden of Entergy presented the award.

“Those involved with the Stone Soup project have made a significant impact on our community. Entergy is honored to have the opportunity to present the Spirit of Community award to the volunteers, small business owners and organizations that have worked so hard to make the project a success,” she said.
