OSWEGO, NY – Members of the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Campaign Cabinet have begun planning the agenda for one of Oswego County’s most impactful events, the United Way’s Annual Campaign Kick Off Breakfast.

Scheduled for September 16, the event will be held from 8 – 9 a.m. at the American Foundry, 246 W. Seneca St. (behind Fajita Grill on Route 104 West) in Oswego.
According to Research Development Director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County Ali McGrath, Campaign Cabinet Chairperson, Rob Rolfe of Harmony Financial Services / Met Life, and his fellow cabinet members have been working diligently to put together an exciting program that highlights the positive impact United Way and the human services programs it supports has on Oswego County and those that access them.
“This is the first campaign that I am overseeing,” said McGrath. “It’s inspiring to see that our Campaign Cabinet is 100% committed to its success. Their enthusiasm for the mission of United Way will help heighten awareness of United Way and the many ways in which United Way funded programs meet the need for human services in Oswego County. Our Campaign Cabinet looks to empower community members and invite them to join us in our goal to build strong communities by ending hunger, helping children and youth succeed, and improving the health and well-being of families and individuals.”
The United Way Annual Campaign Kick Off Breakfast marks the official start to the United Way 2015-2016 Annual Campaign.
The campaign helps to raise funds for the 27 human services programs that are provided through United Way member agencies.
