Students in the Sandy Creek Central School District enrolled in Julie McNitt’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten classes held their annual Christmas programs on December 14.

The morning and afternoon programs each performed for family, friends and community members, a delightful and truly entertaining musical event.
The students, dressed in their holiday finery, danced and sang songs such as “Ring Those Bells” complete with student accompaniment on their own hand-held jingle bells, a robust version of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” an action-packed “The Lights on the Tree,” the classic “Jingle Bells,” “Christmas Snowman” and finally “The Reindeer Pokey.” The verse in “The Reindeer Pokey,” you put your reindeer tail in… had audience members laughing out loud as students Hokey Pokey’d their way through the verses.

Following the concert, a small reception was held with snacks and juice for the students and their guests.
