Veterans Honored at Sandy Creek Elementary

Sandy Creek Elementary School held a special morning program to honor local veterans and those with a special connection to students or staff at the school on the Friday before Veterans’ Day.

During the morning program a special PowerPoint presentation was played honoring those with the local connection and students sang songs and created thank you cards for each veteran in attendance.

Following the morning program an honorary reception was held for veterans and the students they were connected to.
