NEW HAVEN, NY -– Master of ceremonies Secil Brown accepts a proclamation from Oswego County Legislature Chairman Kevin Gardner at the opening ceremonies of the Moving Wall in New Haven.
The replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was displayed over Memorial Day weekend at the New Haven Volunteer Fire Company.
The event was sponsored by Hamlin-Weldon Post 1532 of the American Legion with support from several local businesses, organizations and individuals.
Twenty-three servicemen from Oswego County died during the Vietnam conflict.
