I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to everyone who helped make our first-ever co-ed volleyball tournament a success.
The event raised some much-needed funds for two of our most in-demand programs, our food pantry, which served more than 15,000 people and provided more than 63,000 meals last year, and CYO, which offers a wide variety of recreational and educational programs for area youth including the popular mentoring program for elementary and high school students.
This event would not have been possible if not for the support we received from Jolene Bechtel of Alliance Bank and our official sponsors, Alliance Bank and Fulton Savings Bank.
I would also like to thank Lee Victory of Cheap Seats Bar & Grill for hosting the event and his generous donation to our agency.
And, and a very special thank you to all the players who braved the elements to participate in the tournament and the many friends of Catholic Charities who supported the event through their attendance.
