Dozens turned out Saturday for the second “Volunteer Day” at the Renzi campaign’s Oswego headquarters, a showing that reflects the growing excitement over candidate Dave Renzi’s drive to bring real change to Albany and deliver results for the 48th Senate District.

“The growing excitement and energy around my campaign for state Senate is attracting interest and support from people across Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties — both veterans of politics and a growing number of people who never before have been involved in a political campaign,” Renzi said.

“Our volunteers will help deliver the message that we need change in Albany and a Senator who will deliver results for the families and communities of our district, after six years of broken promises,” Renzi said.

Renzi volunteers will reach out to their friends and neighbors to help spread the word about their candidate and his promise to bring property tax relief, as well as his determination to fight for fair treatment from Albany.

“I am hearing from voters of the 48th District that they are tired of the worn and empty promises of career politicians, and they are looking for a fresh face, with fresh ideas to help deliver change and the results we need,” Renzi said.

“Volunteers for Renzi” is headed by Jess Renzi, the candidate’s wife. Oswego “Volunteer Day” was the second such event. A third “Volunteer Day” is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, from 9 am-Noon, at Renzi for Senate’s St. Lawrence County headquarters, 17 Main Street, Canton.
