Carpenter’s Brook Fish Hatchery is looking for volunteers to help staff stock fish in area streams, lakes and ponds. Onondaga County waterways are scheduled to receive an estimated 70,000 trout from late March to late May.
Volunteers are needed from March 21 through May 17, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, able to lift 50 lbs, and commit for the entire day.
