OSWEGO COUNTY – A team of four volunteers from Christian Disaster Relief, an arm of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite in the Finger Lakes Region, assisted Oswego County Office for the Aging (OFA) clients with snow removal Jan. 5. Their efforts followed a lake effect snowstorm that brought multiple feet of snow across the county within a few days. Pictured from left are Oswego County OFA Director Sara Sunday; volunteer team members Andy Peachey, Benjamin Kurtz and Marcus Peachey; team leader Jeff Koehn; and Oswego County Emergency Management Office (EMO) Director Cathleen Palmitesso.
