“This generous donation from Wal-Mart will help our Task Force to offer more opportunities over the next year to so many people affected by Autism in Oswego County,” noted Julie Chetney, OCATF chair.

The Task Force’s annual needs assessment survey to members of the community has lead the Task Force in the direction of offering upcoming workshops and panel discussions geared for school aged children and the challenges of the teenage years.

In addition, a criterion for scholarship to be awarded to children on the Autism spectrum that are graduating from high school is being planned for upcoming 2010 graduates.
