Wal-Mart Shows It Cares And Shares With Oswego Schools

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Wal-Mart helped make the holidays much brighter for many Oswego City School District students and families as $3,500 was donated to “Care and Share” program.

Each home and school association will have an extra $500 to put toward their various projects.

Wal-Mart store manager Jenny Reakes made the presentation to home and school association officers.

On hand for the presentation are in front: Sherry Babcock (Charles E. Riley), Deanna Brown (Oswego Middle School), Reakes, Mary Pryor (Leighton), Julie Chetney (Kingsford) and Jill Allen of Wal-Mart.

In back are Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist, Megan Smith (OMS), Betsy Gazda (CER), Lisa Roman (KPS), Amy Skinner (Fitzhugh Park) and John VanWert (Oswego High).

Also receiving a check, but absent from the photo, was Heidi Sampson (Minetto Elementary).
