Wal-Mart stores in Granby, Oswego and Central Square will be collecting school supplies for the "Stuff A Bus" campaign now through August 15th.

Wal-Mart has joined the efforts of the United Way’s Success By 6 program to provide children less fortunate throughout Oswego County with the supplies they need to begin the school year.

Initiated by the United Way’s Success By 6 program, the goal of the “Stuff-A-Bus” campaign is to collect school supplies for children in need throughout Oswego County.

“The support we are receiving from community minded businesses such as Wal-Mart is very encouraging,” said Bonnie Holmes, Director of the Success By 6 program.

Success By 6 looks to fill twelve buses with school supplies for students in need throughout Oswego County.  The final collection will take place on Friday, August 15th when Success By 6 will have buses at twelve convenient locations:

-         The Midway Drive-In on Route 48 in Minetto

-         Wal-Mart on Route 49 in Central Square

-         Wal-Mart on Route 104 in Oswego

-         Wal-Mart on Route 3 in Granby

-         Kinney Drugs on Main Street in Mexico

-         Kinney Drugs on Route 13 in Pulaski

-         Kinney Drugs on Bridge Street in Oswego

-         Staples on Route 104 in Oswego

-         The Hannibal IGA, Route 3 in Hannibal

-         Price Chopper on Route 104 in Oswego

-         Price Chopper on West First Street in Fulton

-         Fulton Savings Bank in the 3 Rivers Plaza in Phoenix

Donations will be accepted at these locations now through Friday, August 15th when the final collection will take place from 8:30am until 3:00pm.
