Kristin Waldby, a junior Communication and Sociology double major at the University at Buffalo, (UB), has joined Steve Chirello Advertising this summer as an intern, announced Steve Chirello, agency owner.
Waldby, from Phoenix, NY, will be working on market research, various publicity and news writing, and advertising and television production for clients in retail, service, financial and educational fields, Chirello said. At UB, she is concentrating her studies on Public Relations and Health Communication as well as working towards a Health and Society certificate. “She will be bringing these skills to assist our clients,” Chirello said. She has also held a position as social media director for the Public Relations Student Society of America club at UB, and has made the Dean’s List every semester.
